The United Nations Population Fund under the leadership of United Nations systems in The Gambia is implementing a project titled: Strengthening Civil Society Organizations to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment through implementation of the Action Plan on UNSCR 1325 and the TRRC White Paper Recommendations. CHILD FUN DAY INITIATIVE
The initiative emerged as a creative fundraising model while addressing the critical need to create safe spaces for children, especially during festive seasons such as Christmas, when children are often exposed to unsafe environments, peer pressure, and unproductive activities. ANNUAL
FEED THE NEEDY PROJECT
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound socio-economic impact, leaving many families vulnerable and struggling to meet basic needs, including access to nutritious meals. Recognizing the ongoing challenges faced by these households, this initiative seeks to provide Iftar meals during Ramadan to underprivileged families within our community. ANNUAL
