In commemoration of the International Women’s Day 2026, Raise The Young Foundation (RTYF) is proud to officially unveil the list of distinguished nominees for the upcoming Women’s Championship Awards.

The Gambian women champions awards seek to recognize and celebrate exceptional women who are making meaningful contribution to national development, leadership, entrepreneurship, human rights, education, and community empowerment across The Gambian.
After a careful selection process, RTYF is honored to present the following Awardees;

2. Ms. Yadicon Njie , National Coordinator Forum for African Women Educationalists The Gambia(FAWEGAM)
3. Mrs. Tabaski Sarr Njie , Country Director- Westminster Foundation for Democracy
4. Hon. Fatoumatta Touma Njie, National Assembly of The Gambia _ NAM Banjul South
5. Mrs. Awa Ceesay , CEO – Native Organic Hub
6. Mrs. Sirra Ndow Country Director of African Network against Extrajudicial Killings and Enforced Disappearances
7. Ms. Bintou Corr- CEO- Bono’s Creation.
8. Fatou Touray , CEO Kerr Fatou

These outstanding women represent resilience, dedication, and transformative leadership within their respected institution and communities. Their nominations reflect their continuous efforts to uplift others and contribute to sustainable development in the Gambia.
